Penny Eickemeyer is the Associate Director for Research. Penny's role is to assist with the administration of research. Her responsibilities will include review of project proposals, monitoring project progress, and submission of quarterly progress reports. In this regard, she hopes to enhance communication between groups of PIs with similar transportation research interests as well as between UTRC and the various agencies serving as the project sponsors. Penny has experience with commuter railroads, having worked about eight years with Metro-North Railroad. Her work there included capital planning and market research. She has a master’s degree in city and regional planning from Harvard University and a BA degree from Rutgers University.
