Gary Jordan is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from SUNY-Buffalo’s Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering Department, with an Area of Study in Transportation Systems Engineering. UB’s Transportation Systems Engineering program focuses on improving the efficiency, safety, sustainability, and resiliency of surface transportation systems. This program integrates research in intelligent systems, advanced computing, hazard mitigation, simulation and econometric modeling. The goal of Gary’s research is to develop new statistical models of elderly mobility patterns in order to favorably impact the livability among the ageing population (e.g., better safety, lower transportation expenses, better access to medical care, and higher productivity of the elderly). Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of New Hampshire, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Maine.
