Dr. Ramachandran's (Ph.D. 1990, McGill University) research interests are in 1-D and 2-D digital signal processing, digital filter design, speech processing and pattern recognition. He received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in 1986 and the B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University in 1984. Dr. Ramachadran teaches/taught freshman and sophomore clinic, networks, systems and control, digital signal processing, complex variables, architectures for digital signal processing, advanced digital signal processing, adaptive filters and digital speech processing.
