Dr. Matthew Volovski is an Assistant Professor of Transportation Engineering. His teaching interests include transportation design, civil infrastructure system analysis, evaluation and management, sustainability for transportation infrastructure, and econometric and statistical methods for transportation data analysis.

Dr. Volovski’s research interests include transportation data visualization, spatial analysis and econometric modeling, innovative infrastructure finance, emerging transportation technologies, and asset management. He is active in the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and the America Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and he serves as a reviewer for several ASCE and Transportation Research Record (TRR) journals and committees.
