Dr. Changxu (Sean) Wu

Dr. Wu is interested in integrating cognitive science and engineering system design, especially modeling human cognition system with its applications in system design, improving transportation safety, promoting human performance in human-computer interaction, and inventing innovative sustainable and smart energy systems with human in the loop.

Overall, Dr. Wu has a total of 105 publications with 1,013 citations (See his Google Scholar Page), including about peer-reviewed 69 journal papers, 35 conference papers, and 1 book chapter as well as 2 authorized patents. Dr. Wu's research is supported by NSF, NIH, UTRC/DOT, and Cisco. Dr. Wu provides students with systematic research training and has graduated 4 doctoral students as assistant professors and a R&D researcher.
