Dr. Farhadzadeh’s research interests focus on nearshore hydrodynamics, coastal processes and beach morphology, wave-structure interaction, resilient coastal protection systems, storm surge and wave modeling and coastal flooding and inundation. As a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with several years of industry experience both in the US and abroad,

Dr. Farhadzadeh would like to apply his research to coastal engineering practices. Dr. Farhadzadeh has authored several journal papers and conference proceedings. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s degree in Hydraulic Structures in his home country, Iran.
