The September 11th Memorial Program for Regional Transportation Planning honors three NYMTC staff members who died in the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001: Ignatius Adanga, Charles Lesperance, and See Wong Shum. The Program provides assistance to students and organizations for projects in both academic and public policy arenas as a way to educate and motivate those who are interested in transportation technology and planning:
