Dr. Mostafa K. Ardakani is currently an Assistant Professor and Director of Infrastructure, Transportation and Security Center (ITSC) at the State University of New York-Farmingdale. He was the instrumental individual to bring $6.65 million fund through NYSUNY 2020 Challenge Grants, which has been recognized by Governor Andrew Cuomo in Jan 2016. He graduated with honors in his both PhDs in Industrial Engineering and Civil Engineering; he consistently graduated at the top of his class. Dr. Ardakani has successfully accomplished several national and international research projects requiring multidisciplinary engineering and management knowledge. He served as a Research Associate at the Center of Intelligent Transportation and Sustainable Infrastructure at the Catholic University of America, Washington D.C. He also has experience in offering classes and certificates for the District of Columbia Department of Transportation. Dr. Mostafa K. Ardakani is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington DC, and obtained Project Management Professional (PMP) credential, and Certified Senior Technical Professional (CSTP).
